The highly regarded benchmark and diagnostic software, AIDA64, has introduced its newest version, 7.40, bringing about substantial enhancements, particularly benefiting AMD processors.
AIDA64 7.40 focuses on incorporating tests for AVX-512, AVX2, FMA3, AES-NI, and SHA instruction acceleration specifically for Ryzen 9000 series processors. Additionally, it further refines SHA3 testing on AVX-512 processors.
AVX-512 is now exclusive to AMD, as Intel is unable to support it due to its heterogeneous architecture with small and large cores, which is unlikely to change in the near future.
Notably, the new version also enhances support for the Chinese Zhaoxin KaiXian KX-7000 series processors.
Moreover, the update includes graphics card support for the AMD Radeon Pro W7900 dual-slot professional card and the NVIDIA H200 accelerator card.
