According to sources, AMD's FSR 4.0 upscale technology and Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card will be unveiled at CES 2025 alongside Ryzen 9 9000X3D processors.

FSR 4.0 technology, the next-generation upscaling solution from AMD, is based on an AI-driven approach. This innovation enhances frame generation and interpolation efficiency through artificial intelligence, promising significant improvements in gaming performance and the battery life of handhelds and other devices, while also boosting game image quality and overall performance.

Historically, AMD has been slower to update its FSR technology following a new GPU release. Therefore, introducing this update alongside a new GPU could serve as a compelling selling point.

On the graphics card front, AMD is gearing up to launch the Radeon RX 9070 XT, which is based on the cutting-edge RDNA 4 architecture. Additionally, the top-tier APU, Strix Halo, which integrates the RDNA 3.5 architecture, will be featured in the upcoming Radeon 8000 series.

AMD will also introduce the Ryzen 9 9000X3D family of processors built on the Zen 5 architecture at CES 2025, including the 16-core 9950X3D and the 12-core 9900X3D models.

These dual CCD chips share a unified cache architecture: one CCD includes a 3D V-Cache stack, while the other focuses on higher frequency performance.

Moreover, at CES, AMD is expected to showcase new mobile products, including the Ryzen AI Max 'Strix Halo' series and Fire Range 'Zen 5 HX' CPUs, and to reveal its Ryzen Z2 series SoCs.
