According to Intel's previously announced plans, the next generation of Arrow Lake processors will be released in 2024, with both P-Core and E-Core upgraded to the new Lion Cove and Skymont architectures, respectively. Arrow Lake will be extended to multiple platform segments across desktop and laptop products, with "S S" for desktops with the LGA 1851 socket, "HX" for enthusiast gaming notebooks, "H" for high-performance laptops, and "U" for low-power mobile devices.

According to a report by Wccftech, new information leaked from a recent testbed suggests that Intel may be increasing the base frequency of its Arrow Lake processors beyond expectations. The upgrades involve the 24-core Arrow Lake-S, 24-core Arrow Lake-HX, and 16-core Arrow Lake-H chips.

The 24-core Arrow Lake-S has a base frequency of 3.6 GHz, significantly higher than the 3.2 GHz of the Raptor Lake-S Refresh (Core i9-14900K), the 3.0 GHz of the Raptor Lake-S (Core i9-13900K), and the Alder Lake-S (Core i9-12900K)'s 3.2 GHz. The 24-core Arrow Lake-HX has a base frequency of 3.0 GHz, up from 2.2 GHz in Raptor Lake-HX Refresh (Core i9-14900K). The 16-core Arrow Lake-H has a base frequency of 3.5 GHz, up from 2.3 GHz in Meteor Lake-H (Core Ultra 9 185H).

Recent news from Expreview indicates that the K-series and Z890 motherboards for Arrow Lake-S desktop platforms are expected to go on sale in October. Given that Intel will be holding its Innovation 2024 summit on September 24-25 in San Jose, California, it is possible that the company will use this event to launch the next generation of Core desktop processors. As for the non-K-series and B860/H810 motherboards, which are used by more consumers, they are anticipated to be available after the CES 2025 show next January.
