The AMD Ryzen AI300 series introduces a new integrated GPU based on the RDNA3.5 architecture. This architecture is optimized for notebook applications, enhancing energy efficiency, memory usage, and battery life. Official claims suggest that 3DMark Time Spy and Night Raid scores can see increases of up to 32% and 19%, respectively.

With the launch of the first batch of Ryzen AI300 notebooks, official data has begun to emerge. Notably, the Radeon 880M's 3DMark Time Spy score can improve by 15% over the Radeon 780M, and it performs only about 17% worse than the RTX3050 40W.

The new integrated GPUs are available in two tiers. The Ryzen AI9HX370 features the Radeon 890M with up to 16 CU units and a frequency of 2.9GHz. Meanwhile, the Ryzen AI9365 includes the Radeon 880M with 12 CU units, maintaining a frequency of 2.9GHz.

The previous generation's high-end integrated GPU, the Radeon 780M, featured an RDNA3 architecture, 12 CU units, and a frequency of 2.8GHz. Thanks to architectural optimizations and frequency improvements, the Radeon 880M achieves a 15% performance increase compared to the 780M, despite having the same number of cores. This validates AMD's claims, and one can expect the 890M to show even greater improvements based on these enhancements.

Of course, real-world gaming performance can differ from theoretical scores, but it is estimated that the gaming performance of the 890M will be about 20% higher than that of the 780M, depending on the game.
