AMD's official blog has published an in-depth comparison between two of the most popular processors for thin and light notebooks: the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, featuring the Radeon 890M with RDNA3.5 architecture, and the Core Ultra 7 258V, equipped with the ARC 140V utilizing Xe2-LPG architecture.

Both laptops in this comparison are part of the Asus Zenbook series, with the AMD device being the Zenbook 16 Air and the Intel device the Zenbook 14 Air. Each model boasts 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM, although there is a difference in memory frequencies—one operates at 7500MHz and the other at 8533MHz.

Regarding the choice of processors, the absence of Intel's flagship Core 9 288V in this comparison is due to the lack of available laptops featuring this model. Additionally, the core graphics for both processors are similar, being categorized under the 140V series but with only a 100MHz frequency variation, which has minimal impact on performance.
